Many of us experience stress on a daily basis.  We live in a fast paced, demanding deadlines, drive through, and competitive society. 

Some stress is good - it can alert us and be a motivator. However, when we encumber too much stress over long periods of time, natural hormones such as cortisol persist at high levels which affects the performance of our brains including work performance, memory, concentration and learning.  Daily, high levels of stress can have negative impacts on your relationships and quality of life. Furthermore, chronic stress can strain ones’ physical body, exhausting its natural resources causing health problems.

Life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. 


Learn to identify the sources of stress in your life as well as the unhealthy habits, attitudes and excuses that accompany them. Do you:

- Procrastinate
- Quickly overreact or lash out before you think and problem solve
- Turn to comfort foods, alcohol or cigarettes as coping strategies and “short fixes”
- Use medication to relax
- Hypnotize yourself by zoning out in front of the TV or PC
- Blame others for your adversities

Understand how to deal with these affects by substituting positive thoughts for negative ones to change your behavior to stressful situations. Learn to diffuse stress or anger in intense situations and take time for providing solutions to the problem rather than reacting inappropriately or with outburst. Create a more balanced schedule and lifestyle for fun and relaxation. In addition, allow hypnosis to relax your mind and body so you have more self-awareness and empowerment for better control in adverse situations.
